February 17, 2009

Alphega Pharmacy is pleased to launch its new ‘Access’ membership package, specifically designed to offer independent pharmacists a range of high quality yet affordable retail support.

The 'Access' package includes:

  • Retail promotions, to help drive OTC sales
  • Retail planograms and zone layouts, to help make the most of retail space
  • Access to the Procter & Gamble PharmacyCare scheme, to help improve retail expertise
  • A strong retail discount scheme, to maximise margins on OTC sales
  • Member’s starter pack, containing everything that’s needed to kick-start membership
  • Access to a range of additional store enhancements, which are available for purchase

Alphega Pharmacy continues to offer its other two existing levels of membership: ‘Discovery’, which enables members to discover the wider benefits of Alphega Pharmacy by providing essential support across all aspects of pharmacy business, and ‘Full’ membership, which offers a total solution for the pharmacy, with a comprehensive range of services and support.

Sue Moore, General Manager for Alphega Pharmacy (UK) comments: “Feedback we have had from independent pharmacists has indicated that many are interested in experiencing an initial ‘taster’ of the Alphega Pharmacy concept and the ‘Access’ package has been designed with this in mind. The package introduces independent contractors to the quality of the Alphega Pharmacy concept by providing their businesses with enhanced retail support at an affordable price.

“Particularly given the current financial climate, we believe that this package will also offer independent pharmacies invaluable support in maximising OTC sales at what is a tough time for this area, while allowing them to see just one of the many ways in which they can benefit from being an Alphega Pharmacy member.”

Pharmacists who are interested in learning more about 'Access' membership are asked to contact the Alphega Pharmacy support line on 020 8974 4029, or emailing enquiries@alphega-pharmacy.co.uk.
