Professional training & patient care

Alphega Pharmacy is committed to the development of an enhanced advisory and ethical role for pharmacies. It supports this by providing access to training courses and comprehensive services designed to help pharmacists better perform their healthcare role in the community. Alphega Pharmacy is also developing a European e-learning network focused on pro-actively anticipating pharmacy needs and developing a range of practical educational modules on key issues such as smoking cessation, weight management and diabetes.

Retail support services and supply advantages

Alphega Pharmacy provides a high level of support for members' retail operations, including listings of all available products purchased at discount by the network. Members also benefit from sell-out dynamisation schemes implemented across the network to promote sales of certain products and increase turnover. Pharmacy members are offered an initial audit of the business featuring advice on marketing, HR and category management as well as the option of a tailored planogram to assist in maximising Point of Sale (POS) impact.
