Pain Relief

Identifying your pain

Every day, about 10 million people in the UK suffer from pain. Some of us experience a fleeting headache or an aching back after a hard day's work, but for others, pain is constant and due to conditions such as chronic backache, arthritis and recurring headaches.

Pain can be a sign that something is not right and how you react to this warning is up to you. If you experience severe pain, especially a kind that you have not had before, it is important to seek advice from a GP. If you already know what your problem is – you might choose conventional painkillers, or physical and/or complementary therapies.
