Some people who have problems with their mobility need daily living aids to help them with day to day activities. These aids can be prescribed by assessors who look at your needs and recommend products that may be of help to you. If you receive a prescription for a daily living aid we can dispense it for you and provide any information you need on how to use it.

If you are required to have regular blood tests due to a long term condition or medication you take, we can take your blood sample in our private consultation room and send it to a laboratory to be tested. You must be referred by your GP practice to receive this service.

If you regularly receive regular repeat prescriptions from your GP we can help you to make sure that you don’t ever run out of your medicines. We will order your repeat prescription on your behalf in time for us to dispense it before you run out of your medication. All you need to do is call into our pharmacy to collect your medicines when you need another supply.

The New Medicine Service (NMS) is a free service, funded by the NHS, provided by your Pharmacist to help you to get the most out of your new medicine. The service is for people who have received their first prescription for a medicine to treat any of the following conditions, Asthma, Lung conditions such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema, Type 2 diabetes, High blood pressure, Conditions where you take a medicine to control the way your blood clots.

Our Mole Scanning Service allows the detection of malignant melanoma (a type of skin cancer). It is non-invasive, painless and quick to perform. The Service involves scanning your mole(s) using innovative imaging technology and having them analysed by a Dermatology Specialist. The service is for anyone who is worried about a mole(s) that they have on their body. It is operated by ScreenCancer UK with the assistance of trained members of our pharmacy team.
